Beatrix Potter had probably the biggest influence on me growing up as a young artist. I would copy her paintings and draw them out at different scales. I also loved the story telling and the magic that came through in her illustrations and I have been trying to do the same myself as an artist.

I finally got to visit Potter’s house a couple of years ago and instead of the classic view from the outside, I thought I’d try something different and show a view from the inside. Showing what sort of view she would have seen and been inspired by and it also shows some of what I’m inspired by, people  and how they sit in our current world!
